To show how knitting, sewing machines and other do-it-yourself products are what you make of them, Selfmade launched a series of documentary portraits. In one story, we meet Jeppe and his grandmother, who helps him sew beautiful suits so he can dress in drag. In the second story, we meet an elderly lady with a heart of gold - she helps premature babies by knitting small octopuses for them. And in the third, we meet the upcyclers of Romania turning trash into treasure by saving old furniture from landfill.
